Webinar: Iliad Blue Tech Transfer Tool for Academia


On Wednesday, 16 April, the ILIAD project hosted a dynamic webinar focused on advancing technology transfer in the blue tech domain, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond. The session introduced the ILIAD Blue Tech Transfer tool – a one-stop shop connecting researchers and projects with resources to support business development and scaling. The tool offers consolidated information on funding, startup support, mentorship, IP guidance, and access to potential early adopters. Participants also explored best practices in transferring technologies from academia to industry, particularly in aquaculture, fisheries, port operations, and environmental protection. Tailored for researchers, universities, and technology transfer offices, the webinar provided both practical insights and networking opportunities. Agenda Highlights:
