AI Skills for Engineers: Data Engineering and Data Pipelines
Course Description
This course introduces the basics of data for AI, what kind of data is needed, how to access it, and how to work with it using practical tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization libraries.
Through hands-on examples and step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn how to extract, query, and explore data from existing databases, set up a Python notebook environment, and use libraries like pandas and seaborn to manipulate and visualize data.
This course is ideal for learners with little to no experience in data management or Python, but who are planning to develop AI or machine learning applications in the future.
What you'll learn:
Why data is critical for AI applications
What kinds of data do AI systems require
How to extract and query relational data using SQL
How to set up Python notebooks for data analysis
How to use pandas to explore and clean tabular data
How to visualize data using seaborn
